Schools…. Out…….. For……… EVER!!!

Ahhh finally I can blog!

Yep- School is out for EVER! Well, almost! Just 2 more weeks then my final internship! WAAHHHOOO!

I have been so caught up with school, family, boyfriend, friends…..you know life. I have had an exhausting last semester of school, but I can say I made it! I have not eaten healthy, or worked out like I would like to….. b/c stress and school.  But I am getting back on track!

So to recap the last few months:

8832_566101532845_201402652_33810646_7248908_nThis was a fundraiser for the Child Advocacy Center, the theme was “Gainesville Gone Nashville”.  So here’s my boyfriend aka chicken little (b/c he has chicken legs!) and me dressed up in our western wear!  I was in charge of the entertainment.

Then right after that was HALLOWEEN!

Then it was Georgia/Florida GAME! Which is the biggest cocktail tailgate party for football!

Tired! Need Sleep!

Hey guys! I’m back and I had an amazing trip! We attempted to go lobstering, but it is so hard to catch those bad boys!  Well, I did not try to lobster b/c I was not sticking my hand in some scary black hole!  We ended up catching lots of yellowtail snapper, and having a fish fry.  I def. did not eat healthy this weekend, b/c Chris’s parents are some good ole Southern cooks, but it was good!

So I am so pooped! I have to go to class soon, but I did take a pic of breakfast this morning…… some Barbara’s shredded wheat cereal and skim milk+Bluberries.  I need to go grocery shopping so bad! But I am way to tired to, so I think I will do that tomm.

Key WEST bound! Well almost…..

I feel very productive right now! I have to go intern tomm in my 2nd grade class for the first time this semester! I’m really excited to meet the little munchkins!

I have made my lunch for tomm, organized my “teacher bag” for what I might need tomm, set up my coffee pot- so in the am I can just press start :) , cleaned, made my packing list for the key west (which we are really going to Key Largo, a little closer to us than Key West), and starting packing a little bit! Whew!

Lunch today at Mcalister’s Deli I got the half/half combo of chicken tortilla soup and a garden salad.  I love their soup there!

Then for dinner I wanted something quick.  I decided on a Amy’s veggie burger- Barbeque flavored pressed with fat free cheese, spinach and barbeque sauce.  And then I microwaved some broccoli and cheese and more spinach

So I’m going to post until Monday, I have a really busy day tomm and we are leaving pretty late.  It’s going to be a LONG drive, but totally worth it.  

I will miss you guys! Speaking of miss, I miss my Izzy! My best friend is watching while I’m gone and she took her today.  But least Izzy has a little play bud- his name is Bentley.  Here’s Izzy before she left

New Obsession

Goodmorning! 

I woke up hungry this morning! I don’t know what is my deal, I have been hungrier the past 2 days than usual.  I drank some water as soon as I woke up and then started on to some breakfast.

I whipped out my batter blaster again this morning- I love this thing, I’m officially obsessed with this thing! I just made some regular pancakes with sugar free syrup with a 1/2 a naner on the side.

IMG_3448Then I ended up going back for the other half with some pb.  I think I need to incorporate carbs and protein into my breakfasts, it just gives me more energy.  Also it keeps me more full longer.

I am off to do my 30 min. abs and arms Physique 57 workout, then run a mile.  I’m going to see how fast I can run it.  

Then, I’m going to lunch at 12:30 at Mcalister’s Deli.  I love this place!  After lunch I’m getting a spray tan, then cleaning, then getting an idea what to pack for the keys, then class, then dinner, then BED!

Welcome to my Chinese restaurant

When I was in class tonight, all I could think about was FOOD! I was starving! And I even ate some crackers before coming to class.  I feel like days I strength train, I am more hungry.  Does this happen to anyone else?

So I was craving chinese food sooo bad! As soon as I came in the door, I played with Izzy for 30 seconds, peed and then starting cooking ASAP! 

I cooked some chicken, cut it up into bite sized pieces.  Added broccoli, ginger, lite soy sauce, garlic, peanut butter and spinach + splash of water- BAM! Smells like Taylor’s Chinese Restaurant :)

IMG_3445And while I was busy being Emeril, my toaster was toasting my veggie egg roll.  I love Chung’s brand!  It’s only 160 calories even with the duck sauce, YUM-o!

So off to some dessert…… I’m thinking some yummy graham crackers and marshmallows.  Then a bubble bath…….. 

Ahhh, off to relax!

Banana Pancakes

Happy Tuesday!

I can’t wait for Thursday to hurry up! Why???? Because I’m going to Key West with my boyfriend and his family until Sunday! I can’t wait!! 

But today is only Tuesday, but it’s a good one! I woke up so early this morning and wanted to work out right away! I did 30 min. of my physique 57 whole body workout.  Boy, I can already feel the soreness! Yep, I’m going to have some washboard abs before Thursday from this video :)

Before my workout I ate breakfast.  I can’t workout and not eat, I don’t see how some people can do that….. everyone’s different though!

I love this stuff, b/c you don’t have to make a huge batch of pancakes.  I hate making pancakes b/c I mainly have way too much leftover, which means it goes in the trash.

Oh yeah! My idol Kelly LOVES it too! I don’t feel like such a lazy girl now. I like to add ingredients in mine though.  Today I added smashed banana, but blueberries, strawberries and you could even make them savory!

After my workout I ate the other half of my banana from breakfast heated in the microwave with Dark Choc. PB

For my lunch I boiled 2 eggs, and took out the yolk.  I made some egg salad using the 2 egg whites, mustard, and light mayo with salt and pepper. I made an egg salad sandwich with a side salad.

Then I went to the mall to kill some time before my dress fitting for some local modeling I am doing.  I made the mistake of going into Sephora! But I got some great Laura Mercier- my fav. brand of makeup!

My dress fitting went great, I love the dress I’m modeling! When I got home I had a little snacky:

Cereal!! Multi-grain Cheerios and Puffins mix with light vanilla soymilk in my Valentines Mug!

Physique 57 review

Hey guys! The other day I received my new workout video on Physique 57.  It comes with 3 different workout videos.  The only equipment you need are weights and a playground ball.

I loved this workout! It incorporates many moves I used to do in dance class!  I know if I do this 3 times a week, I will get my flexibility back! I have only tried the 57 minute workout, which you do the same moves you see in the youtube video.  The other two videos are 30 min. abs and arms and the 30 min whole body workout.  You can check out their website here www.physique57.com

So on to my snack after Zumba and before class:

Then Dinner was chicken topped with pepperjack cheese, mushrooms, and steak sauce with a side of green beans- YUM!

My dessert was a quaker banana coconut bar with dark choc. pb….. doesn’t look pretty, but WOW! Awesome! banana+pb is always good!

Veggie Burgers, Zumba, Class

Howdy! It’s Monday……. ugh! I didn’t even realize it was Monday today, until my friend asked me how my weekend was! I was like itsn’t it still the weekend? And she started dying laughing! Whoops, I’m losing track of my days! I hate it when that happens.

 

Anyways this morning I was woken up at 7:30 by Izzy playing in my hair! So I took her outside to go to the bathroom, and came in to make some breakfast.  The pic is on my phone, but I don’t have the converter for it right now- so I’ll just tell you what it was.  Strawberry and Blueberry Oats :)

 

Then I piddled around until lunchtime.  Lunch was a Veggie Burger with laughing cow cheese, ketchup, mustard and hot sauce (love this addition!)  Also was cucumber- dipped in ranch and a pickle.

I’m going to Zumba then class, hope you lovely ladies are having a great day!

What?! Class on Saturday?

Hi!!! This is me this Saturday morning at 7am about to go to class! Who has a class on Saturday morning? Welp that would be me- Taylor the dork!

So before my class I took Izzy outside and ate some breakfast. It was Cascadian Farms multigrain cereal with light vanilla soymilk, topped with strawberries and blueberries. There was so Tazo tea enjoyed also.

Then off to class I went! My school is literally 5 min away from my apartment, which is great! I want to bike there, but lately it has been raining alot in the afternoons. I don’t want to get stranded there :(

Then we had a break for lunch at 11:30 and had to be back at 12:30. I’m telling you, an hour is not long enough for lunch! I whipped together a portabella mushroom salad with cucumbers, tomatoes, and carrots. Then topped it with goat cheese and honey mustard. Party in my mouth!!

I had class till 3:30, and came back to mi casa to lounge! I have been thinking all day in my class of getting in my comfy clothes. A snack was made after my dreams came true of comfy clothes. Which was 100 calorie popcorn.

Here were come of the food I consumed yesterday:
That would be a lazy way of eating peanut butter and an apple.
What you do: Take a bite out of the apple, then put some peanut butter on the apple, then take another bite. I tried Naturally Peanut Butter, which I have never tried this brand before……..I approve! I love it!

Eating cereal on my couch, I know, I know, it sounds a little strange. But I dont like eating at the table all by myself :( I like Izzy to be right next to me. Call me crazy!

I think it is a Gardenburger, but it was a new grilled “chicken”. It was aight, nothing that rocks my socks off. But I made it more yummier by added some cheese and barbeque sauce! Plus a side of some broc

Well I’m off to take a nap, then I’m trying my new workout DVD I ordered from Physique57

I’m excited to try this! I’ll let you guys know how it is :)

Getting back into the Grove

Sorry for being M.I.A the last few days! I have just been trying to get everything together- Getting back into the routine of things. I started classes this week, and I love them so far! This is my last semester and it’s supposed to be the hardest one- UGH!!! I’m so ready for it to be done with though! I think the only reason I like school is b/c I like my friends in my classes.

On to my weekend, which was great! Friday night I had my fashion show, which we were not allowed any pics. But my mom was sneaky and took a few pics:

This is at the end of the fashion show, where I had to wear a wedding dress. Whenever I do some sort of local modeling, they always make me wear a wedding dress! Coming in September I am being a bride model- it should be fun though. I promise to have more pics of that one.

Here’s me and my boyfriend :) Yuck I had to wear red lipstick! Def. does not look good on me!

So this weekend I had to house sit for my parents while they went to the beach. I have not taken any pics of my food- but here is one thing I had over the weekend!

Nom, Nom! I actually had this same thing for breakfast, minus the nanner!

So I literally just got back from the school I’m doing my internship like 10 minutes ago. The kids dont start until next week, but I was helping my teacher set up her bulletin boards and classroom. It was so fun! I can’t wait for my own :) Her theme is garden and bugs. One teacher had the cutest theme: an ice cream parlor- I will have to take a pic of it!

I just ate some lunch, which was a veggie burger and tortilla chips and carrots. I was really hunnggrry! I dipped my chips in ketchup, does anyone else do that or am I a weirdo???
And last but not least, I ordered some holey donuts the other night when they were $5 a box! I can’t wait for them to get here!! I got 3 boxes- but I plan on sharing them :) Just because I’m a nice girl like that!
